Win Admin / Jr System Admin spot in Missisauga, Canada / HCL (URGENT Windows/VMware Admin Resource Junior System Admin resources with basic experience on Unix Platforms. All Rates are in CAD. Duration : 6 Months Plus Location: Mississauga, ON Canada Profile description Level 2 (4-6 yrs)– intermediate resource with strong understanding of Windows (VMware). Understanding of Aix, Red Hat Linux is a plus. Level 2 (4-6 yrs)– intermediate resource with strong understanding of Windows (VMware). Understanding of Aix, Red Hat Linux is a plus. Level 1.5 (2-3 yrs)– intermediate resource with good/basic understanding of Unix platforms and normal day to day operations within the data centre including hands and feet support within the data centre. WINDOWS (same as above except for Mandatory skills) • 5+ years experience with Windows Administration skills in 2000/2003/2008. • 5+ years experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policies. • In-depth experience with Microsoft technologies • Experience with Installation, Configuration and maintenance Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Servers, AD • Experience with Installing, Managing, , Configuring and Troubleshooting of DNS, DHCP, Remote Access on large Infrastructure • Experience with enterprise-class server hardware including HP and IBM servers • Experience with Windows Scripting, PowerShell, Perl, or command line tools (CLI). • Experience with application packaging and OS deployment tools. • Windows performance tuning, trending, and analysis. • Understanding of server architectures, hardware, RAID • Understanding of application & OS security, including virus scan management • Experience with Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services).
