Sr. Project Manager

Our client is a global corporation that provides end to end logistics and financial management solutions. We are seeking to hire a Sr. Project Manager. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Director PMO and will be responsible for managing medium to large projects on an enterprise scale. Experience will include managing various types of projects in all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure that mission critical applications are produced and managed to the highest degree. Benefits include RRSP and bonus, in addition to medical coverage.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of eight years experience in a combination of business systems development, general business, and project management; and Project Management Institution (PMI) certification or equivalent.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision; the ability to make decisions regarding a assigned projects
independently.
• Background in computer science to ensure an understanding of the technical development process; the ability to discuss technical issues with both technicians and business users.
• The ability lead groups of individuals on a project basis; the ability to mediate project team conflicts; the capability to render quick, decisive actions as required by sudden crises over the course of the project; and excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience implementing and supporting large enterprise systems
• Excellent communication skills and be a relationship builder in a matrix type of an organization.
• Knowledge and understanding of how financial institutions work.
• Ability to clearly gather client requirements and manage expectations
• Budgeting--Knowledge of specific policies and practices for planning and administration of budget.
• Application Delivery Process--Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, formal methodologies and disciplines for
delivering new or enhanced applications.
