Experience/Skills required: Minimum of 3 years purchasing experience in a large wholesale/distribution facility with strong computer skills and excellent communication skills. Must be a team-player and have an outgoing personality.

Duties: Assess requirements for a $1 billion wholesaler / distributor of consumer packaged goods. Purchase cofectionery products by negotiating and consulting with various well-established suppliers. Invite tenders and review quotations, determine contract terms & conditions, award contracts or recommend contract awards, establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact clients/suppliers to resolve problems.

Salary: $40,000
