Employee Care Coordinator

Reporting to the Vice President, Employee Care, your accountabilities will include:

• Maintain all employee personnel/benefit files
• Prepare Offer letters & orientation documentation for new hires
• Maintain the HRIS and ensure all new hires are updated into the system
• Submitting all pension, benefits, Personnel Action Forms, and Time and Attendance Sheets for Payroll Processing.
• Previewing Payroll registers in conjunction with payroll manager and ensuring all necessary changes are made.
• Handling all employee queries relating to payroll and pay issues.
• Provide benefit information to employees who are enrolling or changing employment status
• Maintain a list of employees and their eligibility dates for benefits and pension
• Maintain and update Vacation records for all employees
• Prepare Records of Employment
• Assist in rolling out new policies and programs
• Provide day to day support to the Employee Care team
• Assist with recruitment if needed
• Other duties as assigned

Do you have the right qualifications? Here's what we are looking for:

• Minimum of 1-2 years related HR experience in a fast-paced environment
• Post Secondary education in Human Resources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) MS Project a definite asset
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Maintain confidentiality, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of ADP an asset
