| Technical Support Associate - Tier 2 Department: Customer Care Operations Position Title: Customer Care Associate / Technical Support Reports To: Team Leader - Customer Care Interfaces With: IT & Operations Summary of the Position: We are seeking individuals with a positive and friendly personality to join our Technical Support Team. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical support to Vonage customers through inbound and outbound calls. • Diagnose audio, installation, and technical related issues regarding the VoIP service. • Test configuration and Debug/troubleshoot devices and applications on the Vonage Network. • Perform typical customer’s Cable/DSL installation. • Assist customers in configuring network devices to support VoIP technology. • Collaborate with other level of support to resolve customer’s technical issues. • Tactfully handling confrontational or stressful interactions with the customers. • Participating in training to maintain a high level of product knowledge. • Document and track customer’s problems, requests, actions and troubleshooting performed through provided customer care tools. • Maintaining standards of customer service productivity. • Provide value added services to optimize the customers Vonage experience. • Required Skills and Traits: • 24/7/365 Flexibility Required • Previous Technical Support experience or related Education Required • Customer Service experience Required • Call Centre experience an asset • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bilingual French/English an asset • 25 wpm typing speed or faster | |
