| Equipment Sales Representative Responsibilities • Builds, enhances and nurtures customer relationships to secure customers and increase business. • Has direct responsibility for sales targets and expanding customer base. • Resolves customer issues and complaints by taking immediate action independently or referring customer to appropriate manager. • Promotes and sells value added services such as transportation. • Develops and implements Website enhancements, marketing plans • Participates in Trade shows. • Persuasively explains to customers and prospective customers how company's products and services can reduce customers' costs and enhance their businesses. • Keeps up to date with information about product and service innovations, changing needs of customers, market conditions and competitors and adjusts sales strategy accordingly. • Analyzes sales data, prepares reports and carries out other administrative duties associated with sales function. Requirements • Ideally, 4 to 5 years sales experience in the industrial vehicles or equipment. • Must show a verifiable record in commission earnings capabilities. • Excellent oral communication and presentation skills in English. Spanish speaking capabilities are an asset. • Goal oriented, aggressive, ability to persevere and remain positive when faced with obstacles. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Very good understanding of methods for promoting and selling products and services. • Very good problem-solving skills. • Minimum: High School Diploma required. University/college degree in related field of study would be an asset. • Good aptitude with computers, knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Travel may be required from time to time (International Trade Shows). Remuneration Commission with a minimum of $800 bi-weekly. This position could provide the average sales person with over $46,000 per year and the better then average sales person, with over $85,000 per year. Reporting In this position, you will be reporting to the president. | |
