We are currently conducting a search for a NOC Support Technician to take a hands-on role working with our Network Management, Engineering and Technical Support teams to provide implementation, maintenance and trouble resolution of network facilities, elements and services. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, highly motivated self starter to be part of a growing and successful company. As the ideal candidate for the NOC Support Technician position based out of our corporate headquarters in Mississauga - you will be highly skilled in network operations support and 24/7 hosted services environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
The NOC Support Technician provides advanced network support acting as the 2nd level of technical support to our customers.  The NOC group is responsible for continuous maintenance and monitoring of the video over IP infrastructure. In collaboration with other teams implements and manages network hardware and software solutions for LANs and WANs in highly available, scalable, secure network environments. In addition, the NOC updates trouble tickets and performs escalations while analyzing and resolving customer telecommunication and video issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Preference will be given to individuals who have experience or in-depth understanding of advanced service-led technologies - particularly video communications.
• Excellent communication skills (English)
• Professional rapport and customer service experience
• Fundamental knowledge of videoconferencing infrastructures
• Experience working in a NOC/NMC for global communications
• CRM trouble ticket reporting experience
• In-depth knowledge of MPLS/IP/VPN networks
• Strong knowledge of Cisco VPN/Firewall technologies
• Knowledge of Quality of Service, IPSec, GRE tunnels, multicasting and traffic balancing techniques essential
• Experience in the design and management of enterprise network routing architectures using protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP and static routes
• Previous experience in a 24/7 NOC work environment
• BA or BS college degree preferred.
