BILINGUAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT (ENGLISH + FRENCH OR SPANISH

DESCRIPTION
- Liaise between internal departments and external customer base
- Be the primary resource involved in installations, troubleshooting, testing and system optimization
- Resolve issues relating to operating systems, networks, security, relational databases, OLAP databases
- Conducting technical requirements meetings with prospective customers
- Work with customers (remotely/on-site) to assist with the installation our products
- Respond to any technical issues relating to the installation of our products and solutions
- Work with Helpdesk Analysts to resolve end-user problems in a timely manner
- Escalate tickets to Network Administrators or other IT staff as necessary
- Install and support MS Office, Outlook, and Explorer within established standards and guidelines
- Troubleshoot problems with printing, e-mail, accessing the Internet and other common issues
- Liase with vendors to resolve technical issues with desktop, laptop hardware and software
- Reset Windows Active Directory passwords and unlock user accounts
- Manage an up to date inventory of all hardware and software
- Maintain backup (ghost) images of all currently used computer and laptop models
- Deploy new desktop and laptops and assist with the migration of user documents, Outlook PST files
- Securely wipe sensitive data from decommissioned computers and servers using DBAN
- Assist Network Administrators with policing current IT security policies, guidelines and standards
- Maintain backup logs, and periodically test the restoration of data from backups

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience providing bilingual (English, French or Spanish) conversational and written support
- Possess at least 2 years of technical support and/or helpdesk experience
- Solid experience supporting SQL Server and Microsoft Windows Server
- Thorough knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, MS Office, MS Outlook/Exchange and Explorer
- Familiarity with basic network connectivity troubleshooting and helpdesk escalation procedures

ASSETS
- Knowledge of OLAP technology and Microsoft Analysis Services
- Experience with Citrix Metaframe technology
- Experience with transportation or logistics software or related industry exposure
