| CNC Programmer CNC Programmer COMPANY PROFILE: Located in Mississauga, our client is dedicated to designing, manufacturing and distributing high quality fluid power, hydraulic and pneumatic components. BENEFITS: Full time position Salary: to be negotiated Benefits include: Medical, Dental RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: Required to create milling and turning CNC part programs, utilizing multi-axis CAM technology. Creation of part programs in support of production activities Update and correct part programs for 1st off prototypes designs and repeating jobs Resolve programming related issues in accordance to our ISO9001 and AS9100 procedures Inform and instruct machinist’s about new machining practices and process cycles Provide programming support during the afternoon shift, when necessary Implement industry changes and improvements in cutting tool and machining technologies REQUIREMENTS: College degree or similar education in CAM programming is mandatory Mechanical Engineering degree or similar education an asset, but not necessary Experience with SmartCam and Mastercam required Experience with Mazak and Fadal machine controllers required Experience in 3, 4 & 5 axis machining mandatory Experience in 8 axis machining is an asset, but not necessary Experience in the creation of machine macros an asset, but not necessary Hands-on experience in general machining is mandatory Knowledge of hydraulics is an asset, but not necessary Experience working in an ISO and Aerospace environment an asset, but not necessary Must be able to work well with people Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal Must be able to multi-task and manage time effectively Must be able to provide 2 supervisory references Anyone interested in this position must submit their C.V. in confidence by email | |
