| Design Engineer Design Engineer COMPANY PROFILE: Located in Mississauga, our client is dedicated to designing, manufacturing and distributing high quality fluid power, hydraulic and pneumatic components. BENEFITS: Full time position Salary: to be negotiated Benefits include: Medical, Dental RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: Dealing with an international clientele base, my client is seeking an individual to work in a fast-paced environment that can handle multiple jobs and switch seamlessly between various duties as required. Produce 100% accurate and detailed drawings for manufacturing in a CNC environment. Able to grasp complex concepts and develop detailed proposals. Understand and implement logical manifold layouts. Design and operation of mechanisms. Must understand manufacturing methods and tooling for hydraulic manifold design. Able to provide in depth fluid power technical assistance to customers. Knowledge of Sun Hydraulics catalogued cartridges, components and all the non-standard parts Sun produces. Know competitor's products and recognize their part numbers. Able to work within time constraints. REQUIREMENTS: University or Completion of College, Vocational or Technical Training. University Degree or College Diploma and 3-10 years of related experience. Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Autodesk INVENTOR A MUST. Knowledge of CNC programming - Master CAM is an asset. Knowledge of Aerospace requirements or work experience. Competent in Fluid Power with 5+ years experience preferred P. Eng. Preferred Certified Engineering Technologist (CET), Certified Fluid Power Specialist (CFPS), or Certified Fluid Power Engineer (CFPE) designation. Area of specialization: Hydraulics and fluids. Leadership, listening, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Strong verbal, presentation and communication skills. Candidate must have 3D modeling knowledge. Ability to manage and work with multiple projects at the same time. Self-starter with little or no supervision. Ability to work in a team environment.
